Senior QA / QC Engineer · On-site

Job Title: QA/QC Engineer

Location: Finland – Data Centre Project (2-Year Contract)

Package: Rotation Package Available

Rate: Depends on Experience

The Role

  • Manage and oversee all QA/QC activities across a large-scale Data Centre project.
  • Ensure all works are delivered in accordance with project specifications, client requirements, and industry standards.
  • Conduct inspections, audits, and quality reviews across construction and installation activities.
  • Review and approve Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), quality documentation, and method statements.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, project teams, and stakeholders to resolve quality issues and non-conformances.
  • Maintain accurate QA/QC records, reports, and handover documentation.
  • Support project delivery while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a QA/QC Engineer within Data Centers, Mission Critical, Industrial, Pharmaceutical, or large-scale construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of quality management systems, inspection processes, and commissioning requirements.
  • Experience managing NCRs, RFIs, ITPs, quality audits, and project turnover documentation.
  • Knowledge of relevant construction quality standards, codes, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
  • MUST be open to working onsite in Finland.
  • MUST be available to work on a freelance/contract basis.
  • Previous Data Centre experience is highly desirable.
  • Commissioning or turnover experience would be advantageous.

Academy:
Week 1 is a series of remote sessions to learn all things systems, followed by a 1 week academy process which is a mixture of classroom and deskside this will be in one of our UK offices and usually consists of 3-8 other consultants all starting their journey together.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.

His role involves teaching the consultants that are new to the company the foundations of recruitment and our systems before then helping them to upskill in areas specific to each consultant.
