Company Overview:
Our client, is delivering large-scale Data Center projects and is seeking an experienced Site Manager – Electrical Commissioning to lead on-site installation, testing, and commissioning activities across critical electrical infrastructure.
Role:
As Site Manager, you will be responsible for leading all on-site construction, installation and commissioning activities, ensuring safe, high-quality, and on-schedule project delivery. You will coordinate Field Service Representatives (FSRs), contractors, vendors, and client stakeholders while overseeing commissioning activities from L2 through L5 and IST phases.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise Field Service Representatives across installation and commissioning activities
  • Manage commissioning phases including L2, L3, L4, L5 and Integrated System Testing (IST)
  • Act as the primary on-site contact for the client, general contractor, and stakeholders
  • Coordinate subcontractors and vendors to ensure programme delivery
  • Develop and maintain commissioning and installation schedules
  • Produce weekly progress reports and maintain site documentation
  • Monitor project performance, resource allocation, quality, and programme milestones
  • Drive compliance with QHSE standards, electrical safety procedures, and LOTO requirements
  • Promote a strong safety culture across all site activities
Requirements:
  • Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Proven experience commissioning MV/LV electrical equipment
  • Previous Data Center commissioning experience (Hyperscale or Enterprise)
  • Experience managing site activities and leading technical teams
  • Strong understanding of electrical schematics and Single Line Diagrams (SLDs)
  • Knowledge of L2 and L3 commissioning and testing procedures
  • Fluent English communication skills
Experience with switchgear, protection systems, or UPS equipment is highly desirable and your background appears highly relevant for this opportunity and I would welcome the chance to discuss the role in more detail.
