Senior Project Manager · Hybrid

Job Role – Senior Project Manager

Industry – PV + BESS, Grid Expertise

Duration – 24 months+

Location – Germany + Poland

Rate – €700-1000/ day

Type of Role – Freelance

Languages – German C1+

 

G2 are supporting a leading client in recruiting a Freelance Senior Project Manager for utility‑scale Solar PV and hybrid BESS projects across Germany and Poland. You will be required in the office 3x/ week in Frankfurt, and work remotely 2x/ week. Having previously worked with 50 Hertz, or Mitnetz is valuable.

 

Responsibilities:

• Operational control over a pipeline of 1.2GW.

• Coordinating civil, mechanical and electrical workstreams, ensuring alignment with design, project plans and client requirements.

• Managing subcontractors, ensuring safe, compliant and timely installation of all components and infrastructure.

• Negotiating Grid FCA's.

• Ensuring all works comply with HSE requirements, project specifications and contractual obligations.

 

Requirements to be considered:

• Qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related technical discipline.

• Proven experience as a Project Manager on utility‑scale renewable energy projects.

• High degree of organisation - Financial management.

• Solution orientated - Solving issues with Sub-Contractors, should they arise.

• Right to work in EU.

Academy:
Week 1 is a series of remote sessions to learn all things systems, followed by a 1 week academy process which is a mixture of classroom and deskside this will be in one of our UK offices and usually consists of 3-8 other consultants all starting their journey together.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.

Working closely with different consultants and watching them implement the feedback, apply it, and then benefit off the back of it.
