G2 are working with a growing client who are currently looking for a Project Manager with an electronics engineering background to join their team in the Rotterdam region, Netherlands.

The client is an electronic equipment manufacturing company focusing on custom order products for various sectors including consumer, defense, automotive and agritech. They work mainly on both electronics/hardware and software engineering.

The client is particularly interested in candidates with experience covering project engineering/management as well as technical electronics engineering.

THE CLIENT WILL CONSIDER PERMANENT CANDIDATES, NOT FREELANCE

START: August, September, October 2026

LOCATION: Rotterdam area, Netherlands

SALARY/PACKAGE: €5,000 - €7,000 per month + 8% holiday + package

WORK PATTERN: Hybrid working – one day per week from home

Project Manager – Electronics Engineering

  • 3+ years experience with project engineering/management
  • Ability to deliver projects from initiation to completion, including basic engineering, commercial, proposals and production phases
  • Electronics engineering background, HBO/MBO/WO
  • Familiar with hardware/electronics software such as Altium, Eagle, KiCAD, etc.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as C, C++, C#, etc.
  • Fluent English required, Dutch preferred but not essential

The client has advised they have an immediate requirement for the Project Manager to join their team with good career development on offer.

Academy:
Week 1 is a series of remote sessions to learn all things systems, followed by a 1 week academy process which is a mixture of classroom and deskside this will be in one of our UK offices and usually consists of 3-8 other consultants all starting their journey together.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
