About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Manager to lead the construction and delivery of a major mission-critical data centre project.

Responsibilities

  • Lead multi-disciplinary construction activities across architectural, civil, structural, MEP, ICT, and environmental packages from installation through commissioning and handover.
  • Coordinate international and local contractors to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality project delivery.
  • Manage HSE and QA/QC in line with Finnish regulations and client requirements.
  • Assess project scheduling requirements, support programme delivery, prepare 12-week look-ahead schedules, monitor site progress, and proactively communicate risks or delays.
  • Support the Project Director throughout the project lifecycle, including planning (MS Project & Primavera P6), commercial activities, stakeholder management, commissioning, and handover.

Requirements

  • 5+ years' experience delivering industrial construction projects.
  • Experience on at least one data centre project; hyperscale experience is highly desirable.
  • Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Fluent English is essential; Finnish is a significant advantage.
  • Right to work in Finland or an EU passport.

Academy:
Week 1 is a series of remote sessions to learn all things systems, followed by a 1 week academy process which is a mixture of classroom and deskside this will be in one of our UK offices and usually consists of 3-8 other consultants all starting their journey together.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
