Logistics Manager · On-Site

Role Overview:

The Logistics Manager will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and delivery of all site logistics activities across large-scale construction and infrastructure projects. This role will ensure that site operations, access, material movements, workforce logistics, temporary facilities, traffic management, and construction support services are effectively managed to enable safe, efficient, and timely project delivery.

The successful candidate will provide leadership throughout the project lifecycle, from preconstruction planning and site setup through execution, closeout, and handover, while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of project logistics strategies and site logistics plans.
  • Manage all construction logistics activities, including site access, traffic management, workforce movements, material handling, deliveries, laydown areas, and temporary facilities.
  • Oversee site setup and mobilization activities during the preconstruction phase.
  • Coordinate logistics requirements with project management teams, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure logistical resources are effectively planned and deployed to support project delivery objectives.
  • Monitor and manage site logistics performance, identifying risks and implementing mitigation measures where required.
  • Lead and supervise logistics teams and site delivery personnel to ensure efficient day-to-day operations.
  • Ensure compliance with project requirements, local regulations, and Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) standards.
  • Support project scheduling activities by aligning logistics operations with construction sequencing and delivery milestones.
  • Manage logistics-related interfaces between multiple contractors and work fronts.
  • Develop and maintain logistics reporting, KPIs, and performance metrics.
  • Support project closeout, demobilization, and handover activities.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Logistics Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Minimum 15 years of construction site experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of direct experience supporting large-scale construction and/or infrastructure projects.
  • Proven experience in a Logistics Manager, Senior Logistics Manager, Construction Manager, Project Manager, or equivalent leadership role.
  • Strong experience in preconstruction planning, site setup, mobilization, and construction logistics management.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering projects within the region or comparable international markets.
  • Proven track record of managing site logistics through planning, execution, closeout, and handover phases.
  • Experience leading and coordinating multiple site delivery and execution teams.
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project controls, site operations, and contractor coordination.
  • Working knowledge of logistics management systems, site access control, traffic management, and material flow planning.
