Overview
A leading data‑center developer is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join their team for a data‑center project build in Oslo, Norway. This is a long‑term freelance opportunity suited to a technically strong, delivery‑focused professional who can manage complex MEP packages in a fast‑paced environment. The role requires full on‑site presence and an immediate start.
Contract Details

- Rate: Negotiable, depending on experience

- Schedule: On‑site, Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities
- MEP project management — Lead all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing workstreams across design, installation, and commissioning.
- Contractor coordination — Oversee subcontractors, ensuring alignment with project milestones and quality standards.
- Technical compliance — Ensure all systems meet regulatory, safety, and performance requirements.
- Risk & issue management — Identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies to maintain project continuity.
- Progress reporting — Provide regular updates to senior stakeholders on schedule, budget, and technical status.
Requirements
- MEP background with proven experience in data center projects.
- European passport / Right to work in Norway
- Ability to manage multidisciplinary teams in a high‑pressure environment.
- Strong understanding of European construction standards and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Availability for immediate on‑site engagement in Oslo.
