We are recruiting on behalf of a Global Construction Organisation who are seeking an experienced Freelance Project Manager for a Data Centre project in Austria.
The role is to begin in Q1 of 2027 until the end 2028. You will need to be a fluent German and English speaker (minimum C1 level, ideally Native German) and have at least 1 previous Data Centre project completed. My client is looking for a Project Manager to oversee the full scope of Civil and MEP works that they have been awarded the packages of by their end client.
You will be the Lead Project Manager with responsibility for the project, dealing with managing the programme of works, budgets, safety, quality, contractors/subcontractors and liaise with the end client/other stakeholders.
The packages you will be responsible for will include both Civil and Mechanical which will oversee Earthworks, Foundations, Drainage, Roads & external works, Structural elements, Mechanical Systems (HVAC and Cooling), Electrical Systems (HV/LV, Generators, UPS, Switchgears), Plumbing and Fire Protection Systems.
Requirements you must meet to be considered:
- Have 10 year's of Project Management experience looking after high level EPC projects.
- Must have completed at least 1 Data Centre project looking after Civil and MEP scope worth over 50m € in value.
- Must speak Fluent German and English, minimum C1 level.
- A wealth of knowledge around Civil and Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing packages within a Data Centre environment.
