Construction Manager · On-Site

We are looking for an experienced Construction Manager to join the contractor on Google's GBL8 data center project in Mons, Belgium.
The role:
  • Oversee safe execution of on-site construction activities, from shell/civil through MEP fit-out
  • Act as primary point of contact for construction execution, coordinating subcontractors across trades
  • Monitor progress, quality, cost and schedule against technical specifications
  • Oversee completion and punch list management ahead of handover to commissioning
  • Lead on HSE: inspections, audits, safety walks and toolbox talks
Contract details:
  • Contract: Freelance
  • Location: Mons, Belgium (on-site)
  • Hours: 40 per week
  • Rate: 110+ EUR per hour
  • Start: ASAP
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's/HBO level, preferably in Civil, Mechanical or Construction Engineering
  • At least 5 years' experience in data center, industrial or mission-critical construction
  • Proven experience as Construction Manager or Site Manager on large-scale builds
  • Strong HSE leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • CV covering at least the last 5 years' work experience plus certificates and education

Academy:
Week 1 is a series of remote sessions to learn all things systems, followed by a 1 week academy process which is a mixture of classroom and deskside this will be in one of our UK offices and usually consists of 3-8 other consultants all starting their journey together.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
