Freelance Application Manager – Siemens Teamcenter & NX (PLM/CAD)

Location: Liège (1–2 days/week on-site)

Workload: 3 days/week (flexible to increase if needed)

Contract: 6 months, extendable

Language: French required

 

Overview

Our client, an industrial company undergoing a major PLM upgrade, is seeking a Freelance Application Manager with strong expertise in Siemens Teamcenter and NX. This role is ideal for a technically hands-on profile who can bridge the gap between users, first-line support, integrators, and Siemens—while actively driving adoption of the upgraded PLM environment.

You’ll be the central point ensuring the PLM upgrade is successfully deployed, fully adopted, and used consistently across the business.

 

Key Responsibilities

PLM & CAD Application Management

  • Manage and support Siemens Teamcenter and NX in an industrial engineering environment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across 1st line, 3rd line, integrator, and Siemens.
  • Support model creation, access management, and user setup.

PLM Upgrade Completion & Adoption

  • Drive the finalisation of the PLM upgrade project.
  • Push adoption across engineering, manufacturing, and related teams.
  • Ensure the upgraded system becomes the standard, “absolute-use” tool across the business.

Business Interaction & Coordination

  • Follow up on tickets, change requests, and enhancements.
  • Gather requirements and translate them into technical actions.

Training & Enablement

  • Organise and deliver training sessions for end users.
  • Create documentation, guides, and best practices to support adoption.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Expertise

  • Strong hands-on experience with Siemens Teamcenter (architecture, setup, configuration, workflows, implementations).
  • Solid experience with Siemens NX (CAD usage, models, integrations).
  • Understanding of PLM–CAD integrations in industrial environments.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve complex application issues.

Industry Background

  • Industrial or manufacturing environment experience is mandatory (automotive, aerospace, machinery, etc.).
  • Familiarity with engineering processes, product structures, and change management.

Languages

  • Fluent French & English is essential.
