ASIC Engineer · Telecommunications · Sweden · Hybrid

Our client in Malmo, Sweden are seeking an experienced ASIC Verification Engineer to support a leading telecommunications client.

The role requires strong hands-on experience with UVM, SystemVerilog, and verification of IPs from scratch.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain UVM-based testbenches for complex IP blocks
  • Verify IPs from scratch, including testbench architecture, constrained-random testing, and coverage closure
  • Debug designs using tools such as Questa, VCS, Xcelium, Verdi, or SimVision
  • Collaborate with design, architecture, and system teams in a telecom environment

 

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of ASIC/SoC verification experience
  • Strong experience in UVM, SystemVerilog, and IP verification
  • Telecom ASIC experience (baseband, DSP, PHY, or modem blocks) is a plus
  • Knowledge of scripting (Python, TCL) is beneficial

Location & Travel:

  • Based in Sweden with flexible rotation/remote work
  • Travel options: 1–2 weeks per month onsite or once per month, flexible

Contract Details:

Our Three Pillars of Training

Academy:
Week 1 is a series of remote sessions to learn all things systems, followed by a 1 week academy process which is a mixture of classroom and deskside this will be in one of our UK offices and usually consists of 3-8 other consultants all starting their journey together.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
