We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager to lead and manage all commissioning activities for a major offshore wind development in the North Sea. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership, and coordination skills to ensure successful turbine installation, grid connection, and compliance with safety and performance standards.

Duration: 18–24 months (with potential extension)
Language: English (German desirable)
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement commissioning strategy, schedule, and procedures for offshore wind turbines and substations.
- Supervise pre-commissioning and commissioning for mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
- Ensure compliance with technical specifications, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
- Prepare and maintain commissioning documentation (test reports, punch lists, handover certificates).
- Manage commissioning engineers and technicians; allocate resources effectively across offshore and onshore teams.
- Conduct risk assessments and enforce HSE protocols during offshore operations.
- Oversee performance and reliability tests; validate turbine output against design criteria.
- Report progress to project management and stakeholders; resolve technical issues promptly.
Essential Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Power Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 8–10 years commissioning experience in offshore wind or large-scale renewable projects.
- Knowledge of international standards (IEC, ISO) and offshore regulations.
- Strong leadership and communication skills; fluent in English (German is a plus).
- GWO certification and HSE training mandatory.
