Commissioning Manager · On-site
We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager to oversee all phases of commissioning activities on a large-scale Data Center project. You will represent the contractor and coordinate with project stakeholders to manage subcontractors, ensure strict compliance with GMP, safety, and regulatory standards, and proactively resolve technical, contractual, and scheduling challenges throughout the commissioning lifecycle.

- Working arrangement: Freelance
- Contract: 12+ months
- Rate: Negotiable (based on experience)
- Mobilisation: 2026 start date
Key Responsibilities
- Lead commissioning activities including flushing, sterilisation, pressure testing, and validation of pipework systems.
- Supervise sampling and inspection processes to ensure compliance with technical and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with construction and engineering teams to align commissioning schedules with project milestones.
- Prepare and maintain detailed commissioning documentation, reports, and risk assessments.
- Collaborate with client and contractors to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth handover.
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards during commissioning.
- Conduct project review meetings and track progress against assigned tasks.
Requirements
- Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification.
- 10+ years’ experience in commissioning management on large, complex projects (industrial, energy, or pharmaceutical facilities).
- Proven expertise in flushing, sterilisation, pipework validation, and system handover.
- Skilled in quality control, risk management, and technical reporting.
- Strong commercial and technical understanding; able to manage multicultural teams under pressure.
- Proficient in MS Office, Primavera, Aconex; fluent in English.
- Willing to relocate on-site to Paris
