We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager to lead and manage all commissioning activities for a major power plant project in Germany.
This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership, and coordination skills to ensure successful plant start-up and compliance with safety and performance standards.

Duration: 12–18 months (with potential extension)
Language: English (German desirable)
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement commissioning strategy, schedule, and procedures.
- Supervise pre-commissioning and commissioning for mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
- Ensure compliance with technical specifications, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
- Prepare and maintain commissioning documentation (test reports, punch lists, handover certificates).
- Manage commissioning engineers and technicians; allocate resources effectively.
- Conduct risk assessments and enforce HSE protocols during commissioning.
- Oversee performance and reliability tests; validate plant output against design criteria.
- Report progress to project management and client representatives; resolve technical issues promptly.
Essential Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Power Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 8–10 years commissioning experience in power plants (thermal, gas, hydrogen, or renewable).
- Knowledge of international standards (IEC, ISO) and German regulations.
- Strong leadership and communication skills; fluent in English (German is a plus).
- SCC certificate and HSE training mandatory.
Rates & Benefits
- Day Rate: €750 – €900 per day (depending on experience).
- Contract Duration: 12–18 months (with possible extension).
