Role - Freelance Construction Manager/Bauleiter
Duration – Minimum of 12 months
Contract Arrangement – Freelance/B2B
Location – Southwestern Germany
Type of Project – Steel Production Plant (Brownfield and Greenfield)
G2 are recruiting on behalf of our client that are a global specialised Engineering and Construction firm who have two major project sites within Southwestern Germany that require Freelance support for the next 1-2 year's.
My client are working on large scale Steel Production Plant projects, both greenfield and brownfield developments as one of the existing steel mill sites is being extended.
They require a specialist Freelance Project Construction Manager to join them and take ownership of full management of the construction site and responsibility for the technical and operational execution of the project.
This means you will be looking after the entire Construction scope (Mechanical, Electrical and Civil), managing all subcontractors on site and providing regular stakeholder updates on the project to the end client.
The role will be Monday to Friday expected 50 hours per/week, with occasional Saturday working depending on progress within the project.
Requirements to be considered:
- Must have a strong background as a Construction Manager in large scale EPC projects.
- Have a strong working knowledge of all German Construction regulations – State Building Code/Landesbauordnung (LBO).
- Minimum of 10 years' experience as a Construction Manager.
- Fluency in both German and English is mandatory.
- Be happy to work on site daily.
- Must have right to work as a Freelancer in EU (*sponsorship is not an option*).
The client will not pay for expenses so the price will be paid on an all-inclusive daily rate in €.
