Construction Manager · On-site

A client is currently searching for a Freelance Construction Manager to join them on a major industrial heating system project in the Netherlands. This is a critical initiative designed to support high-efficiency thermal processes and ensure reliable utility integration for industrial operations. We’re looking for an experienced Construction Manager to oversee the construction phase and delivery from detailed design (FDS, P&ID) through installation, testing, and commissioning across piping, E&I, and soft water systems.

START: ASAP

LOCATION: Amsterdam, Netherlands

Contract length – 12 month contract (Payroll/ltd) Freelance

Hours: 40 hours a week

Specification:

  • Proven experience managing industrial utility or process heating projects, including piping and E&I installation.
  • Familiarity with Dutch construction regulations, safety standards, and permitting processes is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of FDS, P&ID, and commissioning workflows.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to coordinate multi-disciplinary teams.
  • English fluency; Dutch language skills are a plus.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
