g2 Recruitment are currently partnering with a large EPC company that have been awarded the main contract for all construction and civil engineering works for a new hydrogen production facility in Austria.

They are looking for a highly experienced Construction Manager to oversee and lead site execution activities during the core construction phase. The project is a minimum of 12 months, as they construction work is required to be completed by the end of 2027.

 

Requirements:

  • Be able to oversee and manage day‑to‑day construction operations for all civils and structural parts of this project. Have strong experience leading multi‑disciplinary site teams and subcontractors.
  • Be able to conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and resolve any issues that arise.
  • Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
  • 10+ years experience managing large infrastructure projects, ideally within Oil and Gas Plants or specifically Hydrogen.
  • Full German and English Fluency is a must have requirement.
  • Must be able to work as a registered Freelancer in the EU (EU Citizen/Passport holder).
  • Be comfortable with being on site for the duration of this project.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
