Contract Manager
One of our clients, a major OEM in the oil & gas and renewable sector are looking to bring on an individual who specialises in contracts management for oil & gas/renewable energy plants, to be based in North-Rhine Westphalia. A background in plant law is also highly desirable.
Our client have several facilities located in this region and are open to discussing the most suitable location.
Experience can be in either of these sectors, any kind of experience with contract/procurement manager for these types of facilities is highly desirable.
The ideal candidate should possess at least 3 years of experience with this position (or similar roles) in either sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead negotiations for high-value contracts with key suppliers and vendors to secure the best value
- Identify and manage key commercial, safety and potential risks associated with the project development
- Monitor the overall contract performance, ensuring goods and services from vendors are delivered according to schedule
- Ensure all relevant regulations and safety standards are followed, specific to the project sector
- Communicate & collaborate with internal teams (Sales, management, engineering, operations) and key stakeholders to ensure project requirements and contractual terms are followed
- Maintain consistent overview of the supply chain, qualifying vendors in advance and monitor the performance of key suppliers throughout the lifecycle of the project/contract
