Damp and Mould Surveyor

My client in the East Midlands is looking to for a Damp and Mould Surveyor to conduct surveys in Social Housing, in conjunction with Awaab's Law coming into effect next month.

Location: East Midlands

Rate: Negotiable DOE

Contract: 6-months

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake surveys and create schedule of dilapidation's.
  • Identify and complete surveys of repairs and maintenance works relating to damp, mould and condensation, and disrepair claims.
  • Liaise with tenants and residents, consulting on choice of works and fittings.
  • Liaise with partnering contractors.

Qualification and Experience Required:

  • HNC in Construction or related field.
  • Damp, Mould and Condensation experience
  • Knowledge of Awaab's Law and relevant legislation
  • Deep root cause analysis

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
