Damp and Mould Surveyor · On-site

g2 Recruitment are currently working with a client in the Midlands to recruit for a a Damp and Mould Surveyor position with a focus on delivering proactive health and tenant safety surveying in accordance with Awaabs Law.

The most ideal candidates will have a history of working within local authorities to assess health and safety issues across social housing.

DMC Surveyor

  • Ensure all properties are safe, clean and habitable and up to Decent Homes standards
  • Ensure Damp and Mould compliance in accordance with Awaabs Law
  • Carry out Day to Day Maintenance, dealing with tenant complaints
  • Carry out surveys and specification writings

 

Requirements

  • Not essential but relevant degree or HNC/HND would be ideal
  • Relevant experience in social housing
  • Experience in Day-to-Day Maintenance
  • Damp, Mould and Condensation skills needed

Package

  • 6+-month contract
  • Negotiable rate DOE
  • Potential for extension or permanent position based on performance

Academy:
Week 1 is a series of remote sessions to learn all things systems, followed by a 1 week academy process which is a mixture of classroom and deskside this will be in one of our UK offices and usually consists of 3-8 other consultants all starting their journey together.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
