EHS Manager · On-site

We are currently working with a construction company based in Belgium who are looking for a permanent EHS Manager. The ideal candidate would be able to start within the next couple of weeks on their data centre project just outside of Mons.

Experience & Skills needed:

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • You monitor the health and safety plans for our company's construction sites
  • You create health and safety plans for our construction sites
  • You will be responsible for the briefing/supervision of employees from external contractors and authorities
  • You will prepare monthly health and safety reports
  • You will ensure that Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are maintained.
  • You keep up to date with current legislation
  • You perform risk analysis and investigate/attend incidents in your area
  •  You support the realization of the HSE strategy

 

Your Profile

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering / construction / architecture / civil engineering.
  • EHS qualification such as NEBOSH General Certificate
  • Min. 4-6 years of experience in the field of health and safety, preferably in the construction industry or in the Area of M+E
  • very good knowledge of French and English, both written and spoken
  • Good knowledge of Belgium legal and safety standards
  •  Work permit for Belgium or citizen of an EU-Country required.

These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
