EHS Manager · On-site

A client are currently looking for a EHS Manager to join them on a on a permanent basis, based near to Groningen, Netherlands.

 

The role would require an EHS (Environment, Health and Safety) Manager to join them on their construction site. They would also consider HSEQ or QHSE profiles.

 

The client is a construction and logistics company, and they are working on the operational safety, maintenance and the management of their HSE/HSEQ systems. This is an international client, so you will be managing safety onsite, dealing with local teams, but delivering international safety procedures.

 

START: January 2026 onwards

SALARY: €80,000 – 110,000 + package

LOCATION: Groningen, Netherlands (20-30km from Groningen)

 

Specification:

  • HSE/HSSE/HSEQ/QHSE technical background with relevant certification
  • MVK, PA2, NEBOSH or similar certification
  • ISO experience (9001, 14001, 45001)
  • 10+ years construction HSE experience
  • Knowledge of safety HSE/QMS management systems
  • Clear understanding of behaviour-based safety management
  • Excellent English language skills
  • Dutch language skills are beneficial

 

**Candidates must already have the right to work in the Netherlands (UK nationals considered)

The role requires a strong EHS manager who is confident in advising operational, maintenance and site based staff on health, safety and environmental issues.
