Electrical and Instrumentation Supervisor

g2 has an exciting opportunity for a leading provider of industrial automation and electrical engineering solutions is seeking E&I Supervisors for upcoming projects in the Rotterdam area. This renowned company works with top-tier clients across the oil, gas, and chemical sectors, delivering comprehensive electrical and instrumentation services.

As an E&I Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing electrical and instrumentation activities on-site. You will take technical leadership, ensuring smooth project execution and enabling the project manager to focus on broader project goals, including shareholder management. This is a permanent, full-time role, and we are looking for experienced professionals who can work independently and provide self-support on-site.

Key details:

  • Start: Q2 2025
  • Salary: €5,000 - €7,000 per month (depending on experience), + 8% Holiday Pay, + Company Car, + Annual Profit Share (€1,000 - €1,500)
  • Location: Rotterdam area (Botlek, Maasvlakte)
  • Hours: 8-hour days (10 hours on critical days), 40-hour weeks, 5 days a week
  • Language: Dutch conversational & English conversational both required

Ideal Candidate:

  • MBO / HBO Level (or equivalent technical education)
  • 5-10 years of E&I Supervisor in oil and gas or chemical manufacturing environments
  • Proficient in MS project; hands on supervisory experience in E&I
  • ATEX level 003 is preferred or equivalent with a strong understanding of safety and compliance standards for hazardous environments
  • Ability to work independently and self-support in executing projects ensuring high standards of E&I installations and safety
  • Experience, knowledge and understanding of NEN Standards

These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
