Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a Freelance Electrical Engineer with strong experience in the food & beverage industry. This role focuses on ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of electrical systems that support production and packaging operations, while contributing to ongoing projects and plant improvements.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Minimum 4+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer ideally within the food & beverage or related process industry.
  • Proven experience with electrical systems supporting automated production and packaging equipment.
  • Familiarity with HACCP, GMP, and industry-specific compliance standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot electrical issues in high-volume, continuous production environments.
  • Skilled in electrical documentation, schematics, and reporting.
  • Hands-on knowledge of motor control centers (MCCs), drives, sensors, and instrumentation.
  • Fluent in English (Dutch language skills are an advantage).
  • Work Permit / Based in Belgium

Our Three Pillars of Training

Academy:
Week 1 is a series of remote sessions to learn all things systems, followed by a 1 week academy process which is a mixture of classroom and deskside this will be in one of our UK offices and usually consists of 3-8 other consultants all starting their journey together.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
