Plant Engineering Project within the Chemical Industry

North Rhine-Westphalia

9 Month Mission (with view to extend).

I am working with a client of mine who are a medium sized plant engineering business who cover projects across all of mainland Europe.

They are looking to hire 1 x Electrical Engineer for at least the next 9 months to help with a new major plant engineering project for a customer of theirs in the Chemical industry.

Key Information about the role:

  • You will be in charge of designing and reviewing all electrical systems for this chemical processing plant.
  • It will involve you performing tasks such as load calculations, cable sizing and all equipment selection as well as all installation work.
  • Previous experience of design, installation and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment is essential.
  • Strong experience working with different sub teams such as Mechanical/Instrumentation and Controls etc.
  • Help on site to resolve any issues during start up/construction phase.

To be considered:

  • You must be able to work as a Freelancer in the EU.
  • Must be a fluent in English both spoken and reading.
  • Have 10+ year's experience within Electrical Engineering and preferably working in the Chemical / process plant industry.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
