The Role
We are seeking a Freelance Electrical Engineer to support large-scale EPC and project-based developments across the Randstad.
This is an engineering-led role, focused on design, technical coordination and project support, rather than hands-on construction or site execution.
You will work within multidisciplinary project teams, supporting the delivery of complex electrical scopes from engineering through procurement and commissioning.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review electrical designs, specifications and technical documentation
- Support EPC project execution across engineering and procurement phases
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers and subcontractors
- Manage technical interfaces with civil, mechanical and systems disciplines
- Support FAT, SAT and commissioning activities
- Ensure compliance with technical standards, safety and quality requirements
- Act as a technical point of contact within project teams
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering / Elektrotechniek
- Proven experience in an EPC, engineering or project-driven environment
- Strong electrical background (power, E&I, HV/LV, systems)
- Comfortable working in multidisciplinary project teams
- Experience with specifications, vendor coordination and design reviews
- Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus)
