Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support a major data centre project based in Antwerp. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-profile infrastructure programme, working on mission-critical systems within a fast-paced environment.

The role offers flexibility with hybrid/remote working, alongside onsite collaboration as required during key project phases.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, review, and oversee electrical systems for data centre infrastructure, including:
  • Support engineering design phases (concept, FEED, detailed design)
  • Review and validate technical drawings, specifications, and calculations
  • Ensure compliance with local Belgian regulations and international standards (IEC, etc.)
  • Assist in commissioning and testing activities
  • Identify risks and propose engineering solutions in line with project timelines

 

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of:
  • Power distribution systems
  • UPS and backup systems
  • Electrical design tools and documentation
  • Familiarity with European / Belgian standards and codes
  • Experience supporting large-scale infrastructure or construction projects
  • Ability to work both independently and within a project team
  • Strong stakeholder communication skills

Our Three Pillars of Training

Academy:
Week 1 is a series of remote sessions to learn all things systems, followed by a 1 week academy process which is a mixture of classroom and deskside this will be in one of our UK offices and usually consists of 3-8 other consultants all starting their journey together.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
