We’re supporting a leading organisation in the premium maritime sector who are looking for a Work Preparator / Cable Routing & Cable Pulling Engineer. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of engineering design and hands‑on installation, ensuring electrical systems can be executed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
What you’ll be doing
Preparing clear, structured work packages including:
- Cable lists
- Routing drawings
- Termination sheets
Planning and coordinating cable routing and cable pulling sequences
Checking feasibility on board and supporting installation teams on-site
Coordinating materials and hardware with procurement (cables, trays, components)
Monitoring planning, progress, deadlines, and installation quality
Collaborating closely with engineering, project management, and electrical technicians
What you’ll bring
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Experience in work preparation, yachting experience highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of cable routing and cable pulling techniques
- Experience with ERP systems and planning tools
- Strong communication skills in Dutch & English
- Willingness to travel for project activities
- Ideally based in the Amsterdam / Aalsmeer region
