Electrical Project Manager · On-site

Join a leading European company in multi technical services, offering innovative solutions in technical maintenance and installation.

You will work as a Project Manager within the Building Projects division. This department oversees medium- and low-voltage electrical installation projects, as well as electronic security systems, for clients in the tertiary sector (such as hospitals, office buildings, and care facilities).

Teams operate on a wide variety of complex and demanding sites across the country.

 

Role Overview

The Project Manager plays a central role in coordinating and managing projects from the design phase through to completion. The primary objective is to ensure smooth project execution, customer satisfaction, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Coordination Lead and coordinate design and implementation teams. Ensure effective communication throughout all project phases, from preparation to completion. Maintain an active on-site presence to support smooth operations.
  • Quotation & Tender Management Prepare customer quotations. Analyse and quantify tender documents to develop competitive and tailored proposals.
  • Project Start-Up & Site Organisation Launch new projects and organise construction sites. Collaborate with the Site Manager to determine required material resources.
  • Team Assembly Work with the Site Manager to select and assemble the appropriate implementation teams for each project.
  • Safety Management In collaboration with the Site Manager and Safety Officer, develop health and safety plans and ensure strict compliance with safety standards on all sites.
  • Project Monitoring & Reporting Oversee the progress of assigned projects and provide regular updates to management. Prepare project-specific quality assurance plans when needed.
  • Customer Satisfaction & Commercial Support Ensure client expectations are met and support the development of additional services as part of ongoing customer relationships.

Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in electricity or electromechanics
  • Demonstrable initial experience in a similar field
  • Ability to work independently and flexibly
  • Strong team player

Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
