Electrical Project Manager · On-site

We are supporting a major client in the energy space with sourcing an Electrical Project Manager for upcoming projects across the Nordics. You will be based in the Danish branch not far from Copenhagen and will oversee electrical and HV projects ongoing. Please see below.

 

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee complex electrical or high‑voltage (HV) projects from planning to delivery. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical understanding with excellent commercial and contractual insight, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and profitably.

This role requires professional Danish language skills, as you will work closely with local stakeholders, authorities, clients, and contractors.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage electrical or HV infrastructure projects throughout the full project lifecycle
  • Coordinate engineering, procurement, installation, commissioning, and handover activities
  • Oversee project budgets, cost control, forecasting, and commercial reporting
  • Manage contracts, variations, claims, and negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, Danish standards, and technical requirements
  • Manage project risks, schedules, documentation, and progress reporting
  • Act as the primary interface with clients, authorities, and Danish‑speaking stakeholders
  • Ensure the highest standards of safety, quality, and performance on‑site

 

Requirements

  • Strong background in electrical engineering, HV systems, or power infrastructure
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in electrical, industrial, utility, or HV environments
  • Excellent commercial and contractual awareness
  • Strong technical understanding of electrical systems, engineering design, and installation
  • Fluent Danish language skills (spoken and written)
  • Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder‑management abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams, deadlines, and complex technical challenges

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline
  • Experience working on utility‑scale electrical, substation, grid‑connection, or industrial projects
  • Familiarity with FIDIC, NEC, AB92/AB18, or similar contract frameworks
  • Experience with Danish regulatory bodies, standards, and permitting
