Freelance Electrical Supervisor | Data Centre | Netherlands | ASAP Start

g2 are currently supporting a leading international data‑centre developer with the appointment of an Electrical Supervisor for a hyperscale data‑centre project in the Netherlands.

This role is essential to ensuring the safe, efficient, and high‑quality delivery of electrical installation works on site. You will be leading a team of 8+ electricians and supervising all electrical activities to meet project, technical, and safety standards.

 

Role Overview:

Position: Electrical Supervisor – Data Centre

Start: ASAP

Contract: 8‑week initial contract + long‑term follow‑on project

Location: Netherlands (site‑based)

Language: English required (Dutch beneficial)

Eligibility: Must be EU‑based or able to work independently in the Netherlands

Core Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor or Electrical Site Manager on data‑centre or large-scale industrial/M&E projects
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team of 8 or more electricians/technicians
  • Strong background in electrical installation, site supervision, and coordination
  • BMS experience (installation, supervision, or integration) is highly beneficial
  • Solid understanding of HSE requirements, site safety, and permit-to-work processes
  • Ability to coordinate with subcontractors, engineers, general contractors, and project managers
  • Strong skills in reporting, documentation, issue tracking, and daily progress updates

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily electrical works across the project
  • Lead and manage a team of 8+ electricians, ensuring high productivity and safe working practices
  • Oversee cable pulling, containment systems, terminations, and BMS-related activities
  • Work closely with construction, engineering, QA/QC, and project teams to maintain programme alignment
  • Ensure all electrical works meet project specifications, standards, and safety regulations
  • Support testing, inspections, defect management, and handover preparations
  • Provide clear reporting on progress, outstanding works, and risk items
