Electronic System Engineer · Hybrid

g2 Recruitment are partnering with a globally recognised brand who are looking for a Senior Electronic Systems Engineer to join their team.

You will be working on full product lifecycle projects within the consumer product industry, from concept creation and supporting NP, through to mass production phases, with a specific focus on electronic systems.

The client is particularly interested in candidates who have a background working in consumer products from an electronics perspective, with experience throughout the full production process, including system design, concept creation and prototyping/testing.

 

Position: Electronic Systems Engineer (Senior)

Location: Amsterdam region, Netherlands

Salary: €65,000 - €80,000 per year

Package: Bonus, travel allowance, pension, 25 days annual leave, 2x days per week remote working

Essential Skills:

  • Electronic systems engineering background (bachelor's degree minimum)
  • Experience with consumer products electronic systems
  • Background with Altium, Eagle, or similar software
  • Experience working from concept creation through to mass production phases
  • Willingness to travel internationally 2/3 times per year
  • English speaking essential

The client has advised that they have a very busy schedule for 2026, and the role will come with great progression opportunity and the chance to take on more responsibilities.

They are willing to meet with candidates who are based near to Amsterdam already, or are prepared to relocate to the North Holland region.

Academy:
Week 1 is a series of remote sessions to learn all things systems, followed by a 1 week academy process which is a mixture of classroom and deskside this will be in one of our UK offices and usually consists of 3-8 other consultants all starting their journey together.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
