g2 Recruitment's client has an exciting vacancy for a Engineering Team Lead/Engineering Manager in their team based in the Cologne region, Germany, focusing on renewable and sustainable energy projects on an international basis. They are looking for people to join on a permanent basis.
They are an equipment manufacturing/EPC company focusing on skid packages for renewables, with a focus on boilers, pressure vessels and heat exchangers, as well as some rotating equipment.
You will be coordinating a team of engineers, ensuring quality of engineering, designs and manufacturing are up to relevant industry standards, as well as directing overall processes from start to finish on projects.
Engineering Leader/Engineering Manager (SME Company) – Mechanical Engineering – Permanent Position
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: €80,000 - €100,000 per year + package
Location: Cologne region, Germany
Required skills/experience:
- Mechanical engineering background (static or rotating)
- Strong understanding of pressure equipment (PED)
- Experience with mechanical equipment such as boilers, steam systems, heat exchangers – design engineering and quality checks
- Knowledge of process industry standards (such as EN, ASME, API, TUV, etc.)
- Background managing personnel and engineering processes
- Happy to help write procedures, set standards, implement new systems
- English speaking essential
