HSE Manager / Health and Safety - Freelance role - Eemshaven

Are you an experienced Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Manager ready for a leadership role in the petrochemical sector? I am looking for an experienced HSE Advisor to join my client working on their green field project in the petrochemical industry, located in Eemshaven. This role will have a focus on ensuring health, safety and environmental compliance throughout the duration of the project. This role offers 40 hours per week, with a minimum contract length of 1.5 year

Specification:

  • At least 3-5+ years experience as a HSE advisor/supervisor/coordinator
  • Process industry experience - oil & gas, tank terminal, LNG, chemical·
  • Native Dutch speaker (fluent English is a bonus)
  • MVK or HVK required
  • Site-based experience

Desirable

  • Knowledge of environmental permitting and sustainability practices
  • Advanced behavioural safety or safety culture transformation training
  • Digital HSE system experience (e.g. EHS software, reporting platforms)
  • Project management experience related to safety infrastructure or system rollouts

Academy:
Week 1 is a series of remote sessions to learn all things systems, followed by a 1 week academy process which is a mixture of classroom and deskside this will be in one of our UK offices and usually consists of 3-8 other consultants all starting their journey together.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
