Environmental Health Safety Specialist

A client is looking for an HSE Specialists to join them on a permanent basis in Q2 2025. They are a company that focus on varied projects in and around the north of Netherlands and working with some very large and known companies.

JOB: HSE Specialist

START: May, June or July

LOCATION: Groningen, Netherlands

SALARY: 5,500 - 6000 a month + package

You will need:

  • MVK level safety certificate (or equivalent)
  • Dutch and English fluency
  • 4+ years experience
  • Open to learn
  • Be the middleman for multiple processes regarding HSE
  • Be an independent worker and team player!

The client is currently working on a project in Groningen in the contraction sector for a large company and site. You will be independent in your role as an HSE Specialist but the team will guide, help and support you in anyway needed. They are also more than happy to train you in a new sector and give you the knowledge boost you will need.

Academy:
Week 1 is a series of remote sessions to learn all things systems, followed by a 1 week academy process which is a mixture of classroom and deskside this will be in one of our UK offices and usually consists of 3-8 other consultants all starting their journey together.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
