Environmental Health Safety Specialist · On-Site

G2 Recruitment are currently looking for a EHS Advisor to join them on a permanent basis, based near to Groningen, Netherlands.

The role would require an EHS (Environment, Health and Safety) Advisor to join them on a data centre construction site. They would also consider HSEQ or QHSE profiles.

The client is a logistics company, who provide logistics for construction sites, and they are working on the operational safety, maintenance and the management of their HSE/HSEQ systems. This is an international client, so you will be managing safety onsite, dealing with local teams, but delivering international safety procedures.

 

START: July 2026 onwards

SALARY: €60,000 – €90,000 + Package

LOCATION: Groningen, Netherlands (20-30km from Groningen)

 

Specification:

- 3-5 years construction HSE experience

- NEBOSH / IOSH

- Hands on HSE management experience on an active construction site

- HSE/HSSE/HSEQ/QHSE management background with relevant certification

- Clear understanding of behaviour-based safety management

- Excellent English language skills

 

The client has the opportunity for the successful EHS Advisor to join them at the start of Q3 2026.

The role requires a strong EHS Advisor who is confident in advising operational, maintenance and site based staff on health, safety and environmental issues.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
