Field Service Technician

Role - Field Service Engineer/Technician

Rate - TBC in โ‚ฌ Per/Day

Location - Benelux region, primarily Netherlands and Belgium.

Duration - 12 Months Project

A client of mine are recruiting for a Field Service Engineer/Technician and the job role will sit within their Textile Care and Laundry solutions division, working with equipment such as chemical dispensing and dosing systems, laundry machinery, water/energy management equipment.

They operate across the Benelux region, and some of their customer sites are in the Netherlands and others are in Belgium, very few are in Luxembourg. The position will involve visiting customer sites (e.g., industrial laundries, hotels, hospitals) to install, maintain, complete preventative maintenance, commissioning and troubleshooting for their chemical dosing systems and industrial laundry equipment.

If you have a strong background in equipment or machinery maintenance projects, this would be suitable for you. The job is to begin in December and you will be travelling across the region for the role, not very often will you be at home - it is on various customer sites daily.

Key Requirements:

  • Must have right to work as a Freelancer in EU.
  • Have a strong background - 5+ year's experience Field Service Engineer/Technician or in a similar type of job role.
  • Strong knowledge of electromechanical engineering and equipment/machinery installations, maintenance, new customer start ups, managing customers and trouble shooting faults of machines or equipment etc.
  • Have your own car, that will be used for the travel across the region (the client will ensure you are paid well for doing this inside your rate).
  • Be able to fluently speak both Dutch and English.
