Freelance Data Center Project Manager · On-Site

We are currently assisting a client within the data center space who are looking to bring in a self-employed Lead Project Manager to head up their data center division. You will oversee the delivery of complex technical projects within a growing critical infrastructure environment, acting as the main point of contact between clients and the internal teams. You will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to a high standard. This is a senior role requiring both strategic oversight and project management and coordination leadership.
Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate internal teams, contractors, and client stakeholders as a primary point of contact.
  • Manage schedules, budgets, quality, risks, and project documentation.
  • Maintain regular site involvement during key delivery phases.
  • Ensure contractual commitments and project milestones are achieved.
Experience Required
  • Strong data center project management experience
  • General knowledge of electrical, HVAC & BMS and civil engineering procedures
  • Strong project planning, coordination, and contract management skills.
  • English Language, Dutch preferable.
  • Based in Belgium.

Our Three Pillars of Training

Academy:
Week 1 is a series of remote sessions to learn all things systems, followed by a 1 week academy process which is a mixture of classroom and deskside this will be in one of our UK offices and usually consists of 3-8 other consultants all starting their journey together.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
