We’re partnering with a state-of-the-art data center cooling company that is driving innovation on some of the largest and most advanced Data center projects across the Netherlands. They are looking for skilled Mechanical Engineers with extensive experience in Data Center environments, specialising in Modbus knowledge, programming addresses to BMS with our Carel PCO controller and proven experience in Carel E2 controllers. This role is critical to ensuring the efficiency, reliability, and safety of our cooling infrastructure. They're looking to start interviews asap and start ideally in January.

Essential Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of Modbus protocols and experience programming addresses to BMS using Carel PCO controllers.
  • Proven experience with Carel E2 controllers in data centre cooling applications.
  • Hands-on experience with hydraulic cooling systems in mission-critical environments.
  • Ability to work on-site, 5 days per week (remote work not available).
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and regulatory compliance for cooling systems.
  • Fluency in English.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and implement Modbus protocols for seamless integration with BMS systems.
  • Program and troubleshoot Carel PCO controllers and Carel E2 controllers for precise temperature and cooling control.
  • Oversee the design, installation, and commissioning of hydraulic cooling systems in Data Center environments.
  • Collaborate with electrical and automation teams to integrate mechanical systems with BMS and other control platforms.
  • Conduct performance analysis, identify inefficiencies, and implement improvements for cooling reliability and energy optimisation.
