Functional Analyst · Hybrid

For a leading client in the Banking Sector, I am looking for a Freelance Functional Analyst with expertise in the Digital Customer Journey.

 

Mission Brief

We are looking for a functional analyst in the banking domain. This domain focus on Online / Mobile daily banking functionalities, payments, cards, digital signature, product/services acquisition funnels and regulatory obligations in the channels.

The Functional analyst will be responsible to create functional and non-functional specifications based on meaningful conversations with business stakeholders and in partnership with the product owner.

The candidate will be part of the Mobile/online squads and will work jointly with other analysts, domain architects, developers and testers. From the functional analysis, the candidate will create the backlog with user stories and test scenarios.

 

What do you need?

  • 5+ years of experience
  • Strong Functional Analysis Skills - SQL, UML etc
  • Strong Digital skills - feature implementation etc
  • Online/Mobile Banking project experience
  • Strong Banking knowledge
  • French or Dutch fluent

 

Key Aspects of the role

  • Start ASAP, Interviews this week
  • 3 days per week onsite in Brussels (For the first month, it will be preferred for fully onsite).
  • Mission initially until end of 2026. Scope for extensions until end of 2027.

Academy:
Week 1 is a series of remote sessions to learn all things systems, followed by a 1 week academy process which is a mixture of classroom and deskside this will be in one of our UK offices and usually consists of 3-8 other consultants all starting their journey together.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
