Grid Connection Engineer · On-site

Electrical Engineer – Medium Voltage & PV Systems (Germany)

We are looking for a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team and support the development and implementation of photovoltaic projects across Germany. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring technical compliance, coordinating with grid operators, and overseeing project execution from planning to commissioning.

 

Your Responsibilities:

  • Submit connection requests and registration documents to the responsible grid operator
  • Communicate with network operators and coordinate technical and contractual requirements
  • Prepare specifications and plan medium-voltage systems in accordance with TAR 4110 and the grid operator’s TAB
  • Monitor and coordinate project implementation on-site
  • Commission PV systems and ensure smooth integration
  • Manage plant certificates and declarations of conformity
  • Provide technical consulting during project development

Your Profile:

  • Completed vocational training in electrical engineering with further qualification as a technician/master craftsman or a degree in electrical engineering/energy technology
  • Knowledge of medium voltage systems and protection technology
  • Experience in photovoltaics is an advantage
  • Excellent written and spoken German, strong communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Willingness to travel across Germany, Class B driving licence required

These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
