Health Safety Environment Advisor

A client is looking for an HSE Advisor to help manage the HSE processes on their project plants in Utrecht and surrounding Amsterdam and Rotterdam. There might even be scope to go further afield to wider NL and even the EU.

We are assisting in their search in the construction sector, where you will join their friendly and hard working team - being the main HSE person for the sites and reporting to the general manager and EU HSE Manager. This is an international company that can give a lot of opportunity

LOCATION: Utrecht (base) and sites in and around Rotterdam/Amsterdam

STYLE: Full-time, Permanent (1 day WFH negotiable. 2-3 days in office / 2-3 days site)

SALARY: 45,000 - 70,000 + package + Car

You will need:

  • MVK certification as a minimum
  • Dutch fluency (English and French are bonuses)
  • Good understanding of soil remediation processes
  • Experience in the construction sector

You will be working on HSE compliance and policies to make sure the company is aligning. You will plan and prepare projects on the HSE scope and advising the general manager and project managers.

Week 1 is a series of remote sessions to learn all things systems, followed by a 1 week academy process which is a mixture of classroom and deskside this will be in one of our UK offices and usually consists of 3-8 other consultants all starting their journey together.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
