Health Safety Environment Coordinator · On Site

G2 Recruitment are currently searching for a SHEQ Coordinator/Site Lead to join our client in Q2 2026.

The client is looking for a permanent SHEQ Coordinator & Site Lead to join there team on an operational process plant, you will be working with the plant owner who works in the clean energy space.

The role would require for you to act as a sole safety specialist onsite. Working as part of a global safety team, you would work on the live operational safety of the plant, be a hands on member of the management team whilst working towards operational incident free safety and maintaining all standards up to company expectations.

 

Location: Groningen, Netherlands.

Contract: €6,000 - €7,000 per month - Full-Time/Payroll.

Languages: Dutch (necessary) & English.

 

Experience with:

  • Align company standards with Dutch guidelines and regulations.
  • Operate IMS systems, perform audits, inspections and risk assessments.
  • Someone with several years of HSE experience with an understanding of national and international HSE legislation.
  • Experience with ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001.
  • MVK, willing to achieve HVK.

 

The role requires a strong SHEQ Coordinator who is confident in advising operational, maintenance and site-based staff on quality, health, safety and environmental issues.

 

Dutch Speaking is essential

Academy:
Week 1 is a series of remote sessions to learn all things systems, followed by a 1 week academy process which is a mixture of classroom and deskside this will be in one of our UK offices and usually consists of 3-8 other consultants all starting their journey together.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
