Health Safety Environment Officer · On-site

g2 are currently looking for a HSE Officer to join them on a on a permanent OR interim basis, based in North Brabant, Netherlands.

The role would require a HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) Officer to join them in them on an chemical manufacturing plant. They would also consider HSEQ or QHSE profiles.

The client is a chemical manufacturing plant operator, and they are working on the operational safety, maintenance and the management of their HSE/HSEQ systems. This is a major international client, so you will be managing safety onsite, dealing with local teams, but delivering international safety procedures.

 

START: ASAP

SALARY: €4000 – 6000 per month / Competitive freelance rates

LOCATION: North Brabant, Netherlands (near Breda)

CONTRACT TYPE: Permanent / Temporary – 3 month contract

 

Specification:

- HSE/HSSE/HSEQ/QHSE technical background with relevant certification

- MVK, PA2, NEBOSH or similar certification

- Ideally experience working on operational process plants – chemical, energy, manufacturing

- Knowledge of safety HSE/QMS management systems

- Clear understanding of behaviour-based safety management

- Good English and Dutch language skills

The client has the opportunity for the successful HSE Officer to join them in Q1 2026, they would be happy for the successful candidate to mobilise at your earliest convenience.

The role requires a strong HSE Officer who is confident in advising operational, maintenance and site based staff on health, safety and environmental issues.
