Overview:

We are seeking an experienced HSE Supervisor for a data centre project in Helsinki. This role will focus on ensuring high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance across site activities, particularly in coordination with MEP contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day HSE activities on site
  • Monitor and enforce safety compliance across all subcontractors
  • Review and approve RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements)
  • Manage and coordinate subcontractors to ensure safe working practices
  • Conduct site inspections, audits, and toolbox talks
  • Identify risks and implement corrective actions
  • Ensure all work aligns with local regulations and project safety standards
  • Report incidents and maintain accurate HSE documentation

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an HSE Supervisor on data centre or large-scale construction projects
  • Strong background working with MEP contractors
  • Experience managing subcontractors on-site
  • Solid understanding and experience reviewing RAMS
  • Relevant HSE qualifications (e.g. NEBOSH or equivalent)
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to start immediately

Desirable:

  • Previous experience on data centre projects in Europe
  • Knowledge of Finnish HSE regulations

Our Three Pillars of Training

Academy:
Week 1 is a series of remote sessions to learn all things systems, followed by a 1 week academy process which is a mixture of classroom and deskside this will be in one of our UK offices and usually consists of 3-8 other consultants all starting their journey together.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
