Java Architect

Freelance Architect (Java and Event-Driven Architecture)-Hainaut(Flexible)-Long term Freelance Mission-Retail.

For a client in the Retail Industry, we are looking for a Freelance Architect with expertise within Java and Event-Driven Architecture to join on a long-term project. The project will focus on the re-evaluation of the E-Commerce system and will require someone who is able to come to the office in Hainaut (probably 1-2x per week).

What will you be doing?

- Improving the Event-Driven Architecture within the team/project

- Working alongside the fellow architects to support the development teams.

- Working alongside the Product Owner

- Making a conception of the website at an architectural level

- Making conceptions of the different domains (ie, pricing etc)

What do you require

- Strong experience within Java and Event-Driven Architecture (Mandatory)

- English speaking, French speaking is a big bonus.

- Willingness to come to the office near Hainaut. Employees come 3x per week however, they are willing to be more flexible for consultants.

Our Three Pillars of Training

Academy:
Week 1 is a series of remote sessions to learn all things systems, followed by a 1 week academy process which is a mixture of classroom and deskside this will be in one of our UK offices and usually consists of 3-8 other consultants all starting their journey together.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.

His role involves teaching the consultants that are new to the company the foundations of recruitment and our systems before then helping them to upskill in areas specific to each consultant.
