Role Overview

As a Lead Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for the electrical design and implementation of an onshore wind project in Baden-Württemberg. This is a fully on-site role, requiring close collaboration with project teams and hands-on involvement in technical activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead electrical design and integration for onshore wind turbines and associated infrastructure.
  • Oversee high-voltage systems, substations, and grid connection.
  • Ensure compliance with German and international standards (VDE, IEC).
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders on-site.
  • Provide technical expertise on automation, switchgear, and protection systems.

Requirements

  • Fluent in English and German (mandatory).
  • Proven experience in onshore wind projects and HV electrical systems.
  • Expertise in electrical power distribution, substations, and grid integration.
  • Strong knowledge of German technical standards.
  • Ability to work on-site in Baden-Württemberg throughout the project duration.

These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
