About the Company

Our client is a leading provider of industrial solutions specialising in screw conveyors, transportation systems, and material handling. Based in Odense, Denmark, they are seeking a Mechanical Engineer for a 12-month contract to support key projects in mechanical design and development.

Job Overview

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will design, develop, and optimise mechanical systems, primarily focusing on screw conveyors and transportation solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to project management efforts, ensuring high-quality designs are delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design: Create 3D models and mechanical designs for screw conveyors and transportation systems using SolidWorks.
  • Optimization: Improve system performance and reliability.
  • Collaboration: Work with electrical, software, and manufacturing teams to integrate mechanical designs.
  • Project Management: Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Prototyping: Support testing and troubleshooting of mechanical components.
  • Documentation: Maintain project documentation, including CAD files and reports.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Strong experience with screw conveyors and transportation systems.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks.
  • Solid problem-solving skills and experience with project management.
  • Team player with strong communication skills.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with valve design is a plus.
  • Familiarity with automation systems is an advantage.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.

His role involves teaching the consultants that are new to the company the foundations of recruitment and our systems before then helping them to upskill in areas specific to each consultant.
