Our client is a leading provider of industrial solutions specialising in screw conveyors, transportation systems, and material handling. Based in Odense, Denmark, they are seeking a Mechanical Engineer for a 12-month contract to support key projects in mechanical design and development.
Job Overview
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will design, develop, and optimise mechanical systems, primarily focusing on screw conveyors and transportation solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to project management efforts, ensuring high-quality designs are delivered on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Design: Create 3D models and mechanical designs for screw conveyors and transportation systems using SolidWorks.
- Optimization: Improve system performance and reliability.
- Collaboration: Work with electrical, software, and manufacturing teams to integrate mechanical designs.
- Project Management: Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Prototyping: Support testing and troubleshooting of mechanical components.
- Documentation: Maintain project documentation, including CAD files and reports.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong experience with screw conveyors and transportation systems.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks.
- Solid problem-solving skills and experience with project management.
- Team player with strong communication skills.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with valve design is a plus.
- Familiarity with automation systems is an advantage.
