Fire Protection Electrical Site Manager – Data Center, Frankfurt

Location: Frankfurt, Germany

Contract Duration: 24 months

Rate: Depending on experience

g2 Recruitment is currently supporting a major data center construction project in Frankfurt and is seeking an experienced Fire Protection Electrical Site Manager to join the project for a 24-month contract.

 

The Role

  • Site management of fire protection and life safety electrical systems (fire alarm, detection, and suppression interfaces) across a large-scale data center build
  • Coordination between MEP, fire protection subcontractors, and wider electrical installation teams
  • Ensuring compliance with German fire protection codes and standards (VDS, DIN, VDE) throughout installation and commissioning
  • Managing quality, schedule, and safety of fire protection electrical scope from rough-in through to testing, commissioning, and client handover
  • Stakeholder management with client representatives, the main contractor, and specialist fire protection suppliers

Requirements

  • Proven site management experience on fire protection / life safety electrical systems, ideally within data center, industrial, or large commercial construction
  • Strong knowledge of German fire protection standards and approval processes
  • Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating across multiple trades on a live construction site
  • Fluent German and English, essential for liaising with local authorities and site teams
  • Available for a long-term, site-based commitment in Frankfurt for the full 24-month duration

Week 1 is a series of remote sessions to learn all things systems, followed by a 1 week academy process which is a mixture of classroom and deskside this will be in one of our UK offices and usually consists of 3-8 other consultants all starting their journey together.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
