g2 Recruitment are currently looking for a Mechanical Piping Engineer/ Piping Engineer to join my client in the Leipzig region of Germany.

This role is for a Mechanical Subcontractor working for a Main Contractor. The main activities of my client are Mechanical Piping, designing of packages and both the installation and fabrication. My client works across projects in the Pharmaceutical, Oil and Gas, Semi-Conductor and Data Centre Market.

START: March/April

LOCATION: Leipzig , Germany (site-based opportunity)

DURATION: 12-18 Months

WORK PATTERN: Full Time on Site

Mechanical Engineer – Piping Engineer – Pharmaceutical Project

Mechanical, Piping or Static Mechanical technical engineering background

Process Industry Experience – Experience in Pharmaceutical Industry is desirable.

Knowledge of mechanical and piping standards (e.i ASME, EU, API)

English Speaking is essential

The client has advised they have an immediate requirement for the mechanical piping engineer to join their teams, they have the opportunity to interview and offer the successful candidate at short notice.

The client has advised that they would be happy to have candidates based in Germany already or would be prepared to move to Germany for a Long Term project.

Academy:
Week 1 is a series of remote sessions to learn all things systems, followed by a 1 week academy process which is a mixture of classroom and deskside this will be in one of our UK offices and usually consists of 3-8 other consultants all starting their journey together.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
